- Breg Polar Care Kodiak (available at the SOS Shop)
What Cold Therapy Product Do I Need?
Each cold therapy product is unique and provides a different level of comfort depending on your needs.
- The Dynatronic Gel Pack is a very flexible cold pack that can be molded to fit and conform to any body part, allowing for comfortable positions while applying the product. These products can be used for any type of injury.
- The Breg Polar Care Wraps are specific to a joint and are primarily used for post-operative care. SOS carries a knee wrap and shoulder wrap, which are designed to hold the gel packs in a sleeve while wrapped around the joint so you can relax comfortably after a surgery while still applying the product.
- The Breg Polar Car Kodiak is a motorized system that is generally utilized for post-operative care. The system requires ice and water in the tank, but can provide up to 6-8 hours of motorized cold application to the site so you can relax comfortably without having to switch gel packs. The system is also very compact to bring with you to the hospital or surgery center, then return home with no hassle.

Does My Insurance Cover Cold Therapy?
SOS does not bill private insurance companies for cold therapy as these products are typically not covered per insurance guidelines. SOS will bill your Worker's Compensation Insurance or No Fault Insurance if you are being seen for those situations. SOS will always provide any billing code information and financial information for you to submit to your private insurance for reimbursement if you choose to do so, but SOS will not bill private insurance companies and will request that payment is received up front for any cold therapy products. Our pricing for cold therapy products is extremely competitive with local shops and online pricing so you can get the best value for your purchase.
