What is Osteoarthritis Bracing?
Osteoarthritis (OA) bracing, or more commonly known as offloading or unloading bracing, is utilized for patients to reduce symptoms related to osteoarthritis in the knee and hip joint. Your physician may prescribe an OA brace to help reduce pain related to osteoarthritis and allow you to return to the activities that you love doing, such as golf or walking.

Does my Insurance Cover an Osteoarthritis Brace?
In most cases, your insurance company will offer coverage for an OA brace if it is medically necessary. SOS will always call and check with your insurance company to confirm the coverage details and if an authorization is needed and communicate that information with you before scheduling the fitting appointment.
